Are you looking for opportunities to help serve in our surrounding communities?  You've come to the right place!  We LOVE being good neighbors!  


Serve on Buffalo's East Side with Churches in Action  // May 18 and/or 19.  This year a group of southtowns churches, including WCH,  are joining together to serve at Vive La Casa (a immigrant and asylum seeker facility in Buffalo). On Friday May 18 and Saturday May 19 from 9am-3pm you can join in helping to do general clean up and repairs work at their location at 50 Wyoming Avenue, Buffalo, 14215.  No special skills needed - there is work for everyone - lunch is provided !!

Buffalo/City Projects:

PATH (People Against Trafficking Humans) // Volunteers  needed for dinners/cooking classes, transportation, reception, fitness classes. Items that are needed include hygiene products, winter coats, hats, gloves and boots (for women and children), snack items, coffee, tea, paper products including plates, napkins, toilet paper, paper towels, and plastic silverware. PATH Enrichment Center is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. 

PATH Enrichment Center, 1083 Delaware Ave., Buffalo  could use a volunteer van driver, to drive a 12 passenger van to transport clients. Hours are from 2-4 and 5:30-7:00 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.   Driving any or all hours would help. Contact Julie Palmer HERE

PROMISE VALLEY MISSION // Volunteers needed to help with remodel of Center, including drywalling, painting and installing flooring.  Whenever you are available to help.  Contact John Brown HERE

YOUTH FOR CHRIST - BUFFALO // Mentors, both men and women, are needed for Middle School age youth.   Orientation and training provided.   Currently meeting to mentor on Monday evenings.  Contact Rod McCallum HERE

Opportunity at VIVE // We now have two dedicated staff people facilitating a program for the children who are residents at the Vive program.  We are inviting organizations to partner with us to engage the kids from 9 AM-12 PM (including prep time and clean up) with stories, songs, activities, etc.  For more information about how to help, contact Marie Moy at (716) 892-4354 extension 614.

Buffalo City Mission Groups monthly needs // The City Mission Thrift Store welcomes groups to support and assist in the processing of donations for the floor.  Women’s groups are also needed to bring a Craft and Snack time/ Game and Snack time to Cornerstone Manor. For more information CLICK HERE.
