Become a Ministry Partner!
We are one big family at WCH, and a part of being a family is helping and serving one another in ministry. Sometimes that's a part of a one-time event. Often it's a regular opportunity to partner in ministry.
It's no secret that we're a larger than average church. With that comes many opportunities for ministry! A few examples of weekend service opportunities are listed here:
Ushers/Greeters: did you know that each weekend over 50 people are needed to serve as ushers and greeters across our campuses? This is a simple but greatly needed area to serve.
Guest Reception: Be a welcoming face and a helping hand to those visiting our campuses throughout the week of during weekend services.
Campus Keepers: Assist us as we continue to make our campuses beautiful. Adopt a flower bed, mow the lawn or help with office renovations (skilled construction). For more information about Campus Keepers, click here.
Tech Team: Be a part of the teams behind the scenes running graphics, lighting, sound or video during services and special events!
KidVenture Small Group Leaders: Build relationship with early childhood or elementary kids through games, activities and prayer.
Middle School Student Ministry: Seeking female group leaders and help with hospitality on Sunday mornings at our McKinley/Bayview Campuses.
Communion Team: We partake in Communion together once every 4-6 weekends. We have a great team of people that assist in preparation and clean-up on these weekends...and are seeking some additional help.
Décor Team: We're looking for 2-3 people to assist the Décor Team Coordinator with planning and organizing the various seasons of décor at the McKinley and Bayview campus. This is more of a skilled position (floral décor or display work).
If you're interested in taking an active role, email Kristy Kaufman (email@example.com) or call our church office M-F (8am-4pm) at 716-649-6335.
Still not sure? Take a couple of minutes to complete the survey below. It will help give us an idea of where your interests are and how they could best be matched with areas of ministry both at WCH along with many of our partner ministries.
