Nomination Process for the Board

The Board:  The Leadership Board of Administration (LBA) is the committee of the church that serves to love the church and guide it’s mission along side the pastors and staff through prayer, wisdom and service.  

Board members currently include:

Pastor Ken Nash (Lead Pastor and Chair of Board), Kristen Farrell (Vice Chair), Larry Goble (Secretary), Andrea Bubar, Pastor Jim Clements, Graham Hayes, John Lee & Elvin Morton.

Nominations:  The board is currently accepting nominations for the 2018-2019 term. It is a yearly renewable term.  We are seeking three board members.

Nomination Deadline:  February 19, 2018

How:  Use this form to nominate.  You can also obtain help submitting a nomination at the Connection Center before or after services or at the church office during normal office hours.

Nominator:  The nominee themselves or someone with permission to nominate the nominee.

Nominee Qualifications: 

  • Biblical:  

    • 1 Timothy 3:1-13, Titus 1:5-9, Acts 6:1-6, “…known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom.” 

  • Wesleyan Doctrinal: 

  • Practical:

    • Attend 4-12 meetings yearly including committee meetings

    • Current full board meetings are Quarterly on Wednesdays, 6PM-10PM

    • Have support of family

    • Be willing to be contacted and to represent the church, church board and the Lord in public settings which may include talking to congregants, ministry partners, vendors, etc.

Follow-up:

  • Nominees will be contacted by the end of February and invited to talk and pray with a board member about serving on the LBA.

  • Those who subsequently wish to move through the process will be considered by the board, Pastor Nash and then ultimately put to a vote of the membership of the church.
